Fuel pressure trouble. Set it to 42lb with vacum off, put vacum back on it reads 38lb

Hello,I am having trouble with my stang,I have posted before about my throttle responce trouble,I was going over the car with the suggestions i was given and I noticed when I would set the fuel pressure to 42lb with vaccum off,when I put the vaccum back on I would read 38lb.That is normal,But I then ran the car down the road and looked at the guage again then it was on 60lb+.That is when i have the problem with it loading up.Anyone have any ideas why it jumps up like that?Thanks in advance.Bill

are you running a supercharger?

what is the vacuum reading at idle and at cruise (taken from the line going to the FPR)?

what is the fuel pressure with the vacuum line off at 2000rpm?
