Default Starts then Dies with blower

I just bought a 1990 LX with a Paxton Novi 1000 and when I start the car cold it starts right up but then dies within 2 seconds or so. I can then start it up again and it will run fine, maybe a little idle surge, but nothing too severe. The owner I bought it from did the blower setup himself and it looks pretty good (install, fpr, boost gauge, bypass, alignment). I don't think he had a chip or anything made and he hasn't had the car professionally tuned. It has stock 19lb injectors and the stock mass air I believe.

Should I go have the car professionally tuned? Will they build a chip for the setup then? I am new to this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

Sounds to me like a problem with the fuel system. I would try some new injectors and see what that did. But, if it runs good after the 2nd crank, I would be worried to mess with it, or it might not run at all.

19 lbs with a blower..... not enough. I'd look into atleast 24 lb or 30lb , maybe larger depending on the other modifications. Make sure the MAF meter is calibrated to the injector size also.

So if I bought the FR 30lb injectors and the matching Mass Air it should be ok? I am new to fuel injected performance. Always been a carb guy before now.
