bro dont get cai there crap any brand any how, im sorry many will disagree, but the best thing to do is a K&N branded filter for oem applications, otherwise your risking your car from running lean and only hoping for a possible noticable gain(i know of nowbody who has really noticed a gain with cai that was worth the money, over something made for oem)

I would disagree with that. I noticed a good gain from my cai. I bought a MAC. make sure you get the fender one. it doesn't get any of that hot air off the engine.

install a fender mount unit make sure the filter is k&n.I noticed the difference right off the bat on both my 89gt and my 90lx.my customers tell me the same thing.

I highly disagree the CAI's are a great mod in my opnion.
I have had a BBK CAI for five years and no problems at all.
The only thing I had to do is change my air filter once.
The BBK CAI also improves throttle responds and gives a
horsepower gain.I highly recommend the BBK CAI! :thumbsup

Default Cai?

On E-bay i see CAIs for a great price but it says 89-93. I have an 88GT. Is there a diffrence in the 88 to the 89 that would stop me from putting this 89 CDI on? I thought they where all the same for the most part between 87-93?

you do not have a mass air meter! the 89-93 ones have provisons to be able to fit the mass air meter between the tb and the filter, if you want a cold air you need one specific to 86-88

and 1995 stang, deffinetly buy a cold air intake, they are deffinetly worth it, but i would find a used one because i know you can find one pretty cheap in good shape, and theres nothing mechanical that can go wrong with it from being old...
