Since I did the tie rods and tires on my car a couple of weeks ago (93GT, w/94 rack), I've noticed she seems to be making a lot more noise from the suspension. (I'm guessing that the lack of tie rod rattle and bad tire noise just made it noticable)Grunts, squeaks, general rattletrap kinda noises. Not all the sounds are directly suspension related, she had been, and still is, squeaking around the rear part of the door jambs, (I'd imagine subframes *next purchase on list* will help that).
Any suggestions as to likely culprits? The suspension is all OE, with the possible exception of what look like aftermarket sway bar bushings. I know its getting worn, and she already has a pretty hefty "to-do" list. (lower ball joints are almost totally missing their rubber caps, want to do lowering springs/shocks at the same time, subframes and torque box reenforcers, eventually need to get the rear rebuilt, ad nauseum, not to mention still hunting a rebuildable 302)
Right now, I'm just looking to get an idea of any potential suspension problems I might be overlooking, and any simple help outs I could use in the interm.
Thanks,
J

I would inspect your lower control arms where the torque box is to make sure they arent super super tight. They shouldnt be so tight the arm can't move.
Do you think they could be binding after all these miles? the car still has the stockers on it, And actually the boxes are already on the list for me, along with a new set of U/LCAs. the p/s box has a small tear in it, next round of parts I'm getting a set of plates and having it reenforced.
