Default P heads vs. Aluminum gt40 Heads

I am debating buying p heads for my gt 5.0 (89) for $500.00 or gt40 aluminum heads for double the price...any ideas??? are the aluminum gt 40's that much better than the p heads??

this is a little bit off topic, but it has to do with heads, Why dont you just port the stock heads???

porting stock castiron heads can only take you so far and they weigh A LOT vs AFR or other brands aluminum versions.

The P heads need special headers, unless you don't mind burning the boots off your plug wires all the time.
