Default What do you gain from a performance water pump?

I am new to mustangs i have learned alot and made my 95 nice. And the other day my water pump went and i order a ford racing water pump. My question is their any gain to geting a performace water pump and if so what do u gain?

A performance high flow pump will reduce cavitation, or in other terms "gaps" within the coolant molecules. This improved flow will reduce temperatures to some extent.

If you also install a "balanced" thermostat, the better, these TStats open and close at the same temperature and pressure. Their price a few more dollars than a regular one.

One more, you will probably gain some HP, the improved impeler design will reduce the drag when the pump tries to move the coolant.
