Question Windsor JR Iron heads

Has anyone used Windsor JR iron heads and how do they compare to others you have used or know about?

I have a line on a set of them and I need to know if I will like them.

This site http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/630.shtml reports they are outflowed by the GT40P heads Y303 heads and almost the STD GT40 heads.

World claims the intakes are 180cc

Need input, thanks
Capri

Well Iam really not worried about whether they should be fine or not more concerned about why spend the money for them when they have less flow that GT40 or GTP heads

Hi Capri

I just bought a set of older Dart heads. They are about the same as the heads you are looking at. Mine have 2.02 intakes and are the 64cc chambers. I spoke to a very knowledgable engine builder before I bought mine and he told me that on a scale of 1 to 10 for aftermarket heads they are about a 5. Not the best, but not the worst. At the very least, they are light years better than anything stock. FYI world products has a website where you can download the information sheets for your heads if you want to look at their technical data

Hey thanks for the input. I see you are also from PA. I have found in Erie that I have one of MAYBE 4 Capris on the road in my area. I have heard of others but so far they do not exist. Drop me an email and feel free to visit my website.

these are basically the same as a roush 180. I know a guy with the roush 200's making around 450 hp naturally. I've gotta figure they're way better than stock, just don't pay too much.
