Default PLEASE READ; Problem

Ok'ay Just rebuilt my engine for the 2nd time in the past year. The first rebuild went great, bored .030 over pretty much all new internals GOOD STUFF right.

A month and about 3000 miles go by before I start getting on the throttle. Then Driving home from school one day I racing on the express-way and when I got off the express-way i hear a knock. Thinking somthing new was just a manufacture defect I replaced lifters, pushrods, and installed adjustable rocker arms; still knocking.

So I break down the block and find the #4 piston scrached all to hell, and some roughness of the cylinder wall. Everything else internally/externally is perferct. I rebuild the engine have the cylinder wall honed out and install a new piston in the #4 position.

Runs perferct for about 400 miles i change the oil and on my way to work one night I notice a small knock. It worsens, this was two days ago I went and talked to the mechanic that I usually go to, me and him agreed that it is the same knock, same problem as before.

!!!I NEED SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT THIS COULD BE; GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK PLEASE!!!

Not totally positive that it is but pretty darn sure. If it wasn't balenced wouldn't this kind of problem show up sooner, and in more cylinders anyway??

kinda hard to say for me, just thinking that if the crank wasn't balance, it may throw one rod and piston off balance causing it to strike harder in the cylinder..............you installed new wrist pins and stuff right?

All new rings, and the berings were barely worn when I rebuilt the engine the second time.
