I finished swapping in the 90' efi into my 79' running good but the wheel hop is nasty. I'm running a 9" rear with Lakewood lower control arms I noticed there is no pinion snubber that should be above the rear. Can you rig up some Quad shocks? Maybe that will help.

My little brother just put a 306 in his 79 Capri( originally a 4 banger) and once he gets the clutch cable replaced he will soon have the same problem. I suggest a qaud shock setup, , greatly reduces wheel hop, I am not sure if any companies sell a kit to do that. In my brother's case we are going to get the entire rearend out of a donor 5.0 ( kill 2 birds with 1 stone that way, toss the weak 7.8 and get a rearend setup for qaud shocks) Aside from doing that you copuld always rig something up ( safely of course)
