I just got in my autogauge 233903 5" tach with a shiftlite. On the instuctions it says that if you have MSD electronic ignition, you have to out the green wire to a tach terminal..I don't remeber seeing one on the MSD (6A) box, but i really don't remember. Can anyone help me out?
BTW on the instructions, it says Warranty will be void if connected to coil on MSD ignitions. Attach ONLY to tach terminal. I ALSO HAVE A MSD BLASTER COIL.
How would i hook this up?

they don't want you hooking it up directly to the MSD coil because it will do damage to the tach. It seems to me that there was an adaptor for the MSD box that the tach can hook up too. In fact, I'm almost certain there is a connection for it on the box.

I wish I could help you on this, because you don't want to damage to a brand new tach.

The only thing I can recommend is for you to call MSD. I wouldn't call autoguage. I trust the people at MSD. They can get you going on this.
