Default X Pipe Or H Pipe?

Im Sure This Has Been Talked About Before, But I Cant Seem To Find A Thread. I Have A 91 Gt 5 Sp. And Im Having An Exhaust Bent Up For It. There Will Be No Cats, And Im Leaning Towards An X Pipe. From What Ive Heard An X Pipe Will Flow Better And Sound Deeper. Looking For Some Opinions.

Ive heard a few X pipes and IMO they kinda make the car sound a bit ricey, i dunno, could just be me. H pipes have always been my favorite.

Depends on what sound your looking for... Check www.mustangexhaust.com register and you can hear the clips. I have a mac prochamber h/flows 2ch and it has some bass to it and a little throttle burble when you let off. I guess its a classic muscle sound. X-Pipes have a smoother sound I think... kind of exotic sounding, dare I say like a vette?

H pipes sound a lot lower and more aggressive. That's what my brother has on his 93 LX. I've got an 89 GT with an x pipe and it sound quiet compared to the h pipe. I think I am goin to get a pro chamber or an h pipe.

Well it might depend on if you are listening to it with mufflers on or not. I have heard my 90 gt with the h-pipe no mufflers on before installing the x-pipe, and not that much of a difference. I think the x-pipe flows less restrictive, just my opion!!!

My o/r X-pipe is not to quiet and it too has a "Throttle burble(lol funny word)" when you let off. I've heard quieter H-pipes around where i live.
just my 2 cents
peace
