Default engine does not run right

My 5.0L mustang does not run right when cold it spurres and does not like to idle but when the car is driving for 15 minutes then the check run light comes on it run good but not great and stating at a light it searches for idle and run like s*** but driving it run good but not great.

Check for vacuum leaks, and check the EEC grounds at the rear of the driver side cylinder head, and at the negative battery cable.

I had a similar problem a couple years back. For me, it was a bad "EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid". It's the doohickey that's mounted on the pass-side strut tower, and it has an electrical connector and a vacuum line that goes to the EGR valve.

Since your CEL comes on, try following the instructions here to pull the trouble codes from your EEC:

It might tell you exactly what's wrong.
