Hi all ive recently purchased a 89 gt,not a bad over all car my first prob though is that my reverse in the tranny seems to randomly not want to work unless you shift down to 1 of the drive gears and its gets worse as it gets warmed up,ive changed the fluid and filter with no success,any advice or previuous experiance with this problem would very appreciated.

Try adjusting the tv ( throttle valve ) cable . It's on the linkage at the throttle body . I dont work on auto's very much so you may need to get a chiltons manual to see how your supposed to adjust it .
