Default Fuel Regulator

I am upgrading to a 190lph fuel pump....Do I need to upgrade the fuel pump regulator also?...If so...Please recommend a good brand..I would also like to add a guage for it..Thx

No, you do not need an adjustable regulator, but it can help fine tune your combo. I bought mine from a friend for $40 and I think its a Kirban, seems to work just fine.

I don't think you really need to have one, just for the fact that they generally work pretty effeciently......i would however, install one, just because i like to be in control of my fuel pressure....i would recommend a kirban....i have one on my car and i love it to death......the gauge is up to you too......you can go all out and buy one that fit's inside your car (electronic), you can spend a 100 bucks or so and mount one on your cowl.....or spend 20 bucks or so and install one on your fuel line, on the schrader valve......i wouldn't really do the bbk one that you may be looking at, and the only reason i say that, is limited room on our mustang's by the fuel rail and the egr......
