Default 83 Convert V6 to 1971 302 swap - I need help

I just bought an '83 GLX convertible with the 2.8L AT.
I bought the car with a blown engine.

I have a 1971 F100 302 AT 2bbl.

I've already ordered an HEI distrubutor and elect choke carb.

My questions for the conversions are this:

What PS and alt mounts do I use?
What engine / tranny mounts do I use?
The V6 is serpentine pulleys, the V8 is v pulleys...what crank pulley do I use?
Will I have problems with the trucks transmission?

This is not going to be a hi-po engine, it will be stock configuration 2bbl, I know better than to do that to a 22 year old body.

By the way you will have to forgive me ignorance here, I am a GM guy with his first Ford product...I just don't know what does and doesnt swap up.

First thing,

Is the 6 popper FI or Carbed?

Either way, the 302 should drop in using Mustang motor mounts. Grab a set for a '91 'vert from any parts store, they are the best factory ones. You can keep all of the V belt stuff, it will work fine. The truck tranny is probably a C4, so it should work fine, and u can re-use your shifter and linkage. You can prolly scoop at set of '86-'93 factory headers for free, grab a double hump trans crossmember from a wrecked '86-'93 5.0, and the rest of the exhaust if it's good. You're best bet though is to get the H pipe and cat-back from Summit. They have a 2 1/2 off road H for $109 and a nice sounding 2 1/2 cat-back for $239. Definately invest in set of subframe connectors right away for that 'vert!

Any other Q's?

Ha ha, got me there. I had forgotten.... You will need the pan,pick-up, and dipstick from a '79 Mustang. The reason I say '79, is that your older engine does not have a hole in the block for the dipstick like the later engines do. Since the '79 302 was a carryover engine, Ford used a pan mounted dipstick. Don't forget to block the hole in the timing cover where the old dipstick was. I used a bolt and some RTV. Paint it over and you can hardly tell it's there.

Oh yeah, swap your dizzy for one from a '79 as well. U can use your old one as a core at the parts store. You can get re-mans for cheap at autozone. That way, everything should plug in just fine.
