HEater doesnt work

I got a 89 GT w/ A/c...and when i try using the heater, it doesnt work. I was wondering how do i fix this and if it has anything to do with the two hoses that were cut off by a previous owner near the passenger firewall. Thanks for the help in advance

The heater core probably failed and they bypassed it. It will not work without those two hoses going into the heater core.

Hi,

When i got my 88 mustang, my heat didn't work.. THe two hoses were bypass too. I Replace the heater core and the hoses and see work. It's not the best job to do, but it can be done by yourself...
