Default What are some good sounding mufflers to go along with an x pipe and BBK LT headers?

What would you reccomend besides Flowmasters? (I want to be different)
And which x pipe would you rather have? Dr. Gas or a Bassani Off Road X? And what's the reason?

Thanks all, I'm trying to get my exhaust combo down pat.

as far as the two x pipes go, those are both reputable companies, and i think the sound and power would be similar if not the same. as for mufflers, i have dynomax, and even though they are cheap, i like the way they sound, and they never get too loud, but they have the sound of power. read what i have in my sig, it sounds nice, but i dont know how loud you want it.

go with bassani you will not be dissapointed. They make great stuff. As for mufflers there are lots of choices or you can go with a bassani catback also??

I like how my exhaust sounds. At idle it is really deep sounding, sounds almost like I have a cam. And at higher rpms it gets really loud.

3 chamber Flowmasters have a very good sound to them. They are not as loud as the 2 chamber Flowmasters and they don't pop and crackle as much either. They may be a little more expensive, but they give your engine a smooth, powerful sound without being too overbearing.

I just had two Dynomax mufflers installed, however I still have the cats so the change in sound hasn't greatly changed yet.

I bought a set of FlowTech headers and X pipe... I'm the only one in town with one.. and it sounds awesome.. I was running stock muffles and tailpipes but now have swithed to a Mac after cat .. I'm not crazy about the rasp that stainless exhausts make.. and I have been complimented by many Chevy owners on how my car sounds. low rumble on idle, quiet up to 3500 rpm .. and then.. unbelievable.. sounds great when you drive down a street with tall buildings on both sides..

i love my one chamber flowmasters, it sounds like a monster at idle and even better at higher rpm. and when you let off the gas and down shift, its so loud it sounds like a jake brake.
