Default electric water pump conversion

Whats up, i wanted to know if someone could help me, I have a 83 302 in my car and want to run a electric water pump for a little more hp, but mainly for cooling at a stop. I have seen the kits that use your stock pump and full pump conversions. what would you guys recomend? EVERYDAY CAR!!!!! thanks

i would have to not recommend either....electric pumps can short out and burn up your engine..especially if is a daily driver. I would switch the mechanical fan to an electrical to run a little cooler and free up some HP and would get a slighty cooler thermostat..such as a 180 degree... have fuN!
