Default Replacing rusted frame under shock towers. What guage and tube size should I use?

Hey guys, I am new to AFM and I have a few questions that I need help answering. I have a 88 GT that I am fixing up and the frame sections under the shock towers are rusted away. I was planning on cutting the rust out and welding new sections in. I was wondering what guage and the size of the tubing I should use. Also if I should TIG weld it or could I use a MIG welder. I have a parts car that is solid so I am not sure if it would be easier to cut the section out from the parts car and then weld that in or just use tubing. Any help would be great. Thanks guys

Not sure on the guage and the size, you would have the see the size on the frame to know.. I fix a spot in my engine bay and use a MIG... here a pic on my work..
