Hey guys, I'm pursuing an engine from the years 87-92 foxbody. I'm looking for a stock engine with the TWR pistons, roller cam, etc, so I can easily put some AFR heads on it and put it in my 66 coupe and have a nice, beasty, little hot rod with decent power.
So, question is: when I'm buying one from someone how can I verify that it ACTUALLY IS a 5.0 H.O. engine and has the TWR pistons and all that jazz?
This link has some insight, of course the heads have to be off to verify. Which is fine if you're buying a block. You could do like me and drive a mark vii home for $500 off Craigslist. Lots of goodies on those
