Default 87-92 5.0 H.O. verification?

Hey guys, I'm pursuing an engine from the years 87-92 foxbody. I'm looking for a stock engine with the TWR pistons, roller cam, etc, so I can easily put some AFR heads on it and put it in my 66 coupe and have a nice, beasty, little hot rod with decent power.

So, question is: when I'm buying one from someone how can I verify that it ACTUALLY IS a 5.0 H.O. engine and has the TWR pistons and all that jazz?

thanks for the help

TRW pistons - DFWstangs Forums

This link has some insight, of course the heads have to be off to verify. Which is fine if you're buying a block. You could do like me and drive a mark vii home for $500 off Craigslist. Lots of goodies on those
