Need opinions on rebuild Helping my friend rebuild his 302 from his 86 mustang. we have the motor on the stand getting ready to tear down.The parts we are reusing are trick flow track heat intake, 70mm tb, bbk shorty headers, 1.7 rr. He thinking about a 306 , I say 331 or 347. he 's planning on running nitrous in the future so forged pistons are a must.Going to convert to mass air. Need ideas on heads cam rebiuld kit ect. thanks

is there any difference in the blocks in a 86 compare to 87 and up?

as far as i know the pistons are the only difference between a 86 and a 87 short block.but i cant remember what the diff is...lol

I know 86 had no valve reliefs, just want to make sure that was all the difference
