Capacity was 15.4 gallons for all '81-'93 Mustangs and '81-'86 Capris, regardless of model, engine, etc. Doesn't mean you're going to get 15.4 gallons in or out of it.
i cant seem to get any more than 11 into my tank, but my fuel gauge is never right, so its probably not from empty....
