I've been looking for a throttle body gasket for a 94-95 all damn day! Everyone keeps pulling Fel-Pro part number 70262 as the gasket number. This is for the 86-93 setup. The EGR passages are around the throttle body bore. NO ONE! seems to have the correct gasket. Does anyone have a part number that is the correct one for the 94-95? Fel-Pro preferred. They are the most common, and most stocked brand around here. Of course all of the Ford dealerships are closed, so I can't call them for the correct part number.
You're not going to believe this. I spoke with Ford for 30 minutes, and they can't even locate me a gasket. They say the 86-93 gasket is what they are showing. So I had them look in the FRPP catalog at a GT-40 intake, and then the intake elbow adapter, and then finally the guy knew what we were looking for. He even looked on the microfish and it showed a 86-93 intake setup. This is whack!!! <--- that means not good. HEHE! Everyone is boggled. None of the aftermarket companies are open to ask about a part number either. I just want to find a stock one. I know I could use RTV, but I'm not an RTV kinda guy. If it's got a gasket I want to use it.
