Re: supercharger or rebuild motor?????? you will also need more than 500 hp at the crank to put 450 to the ground. You should expect a 15-20% drop from the crank to the ground. You should be looking for somewhere in the 520-530 at the crank to get 450 at the wheels. And to be even more realistic, if you have it done on a good dyno that is set up to read very realistically it would say you would need around 550 to get that kind of power to the wheels. Every dyno is different, and most of the ones that the companies use to show how much of a performance gain a part has is usually very unrealistic to show more power than is really there.
