Default Bolts for 302/351 heads?

Can I just use the arp head bolts that are for a 302 or do i have to get a special head bolt since the heads are bigger and can also work for a 351? If you could post me a link to a bolt set that'll work for my application it would be appreciated thanks.

You could try searching to site, or you'll need to give more information on what you're trying to do. Are you putting 351 heads on a 302...?

wait, are you wanting to use a head drilled for 1/2 head bolts on a 302? If so just get headbolt bushings to adapt the 7/16" bolts to work in the 1/2 head

Kinda big for a 302. What are the valve sizes? You'll probably need to fly cut the pistons.

if you're using 7/16 head bolts meant for a 302 with heads like the pro comp 210's which are drilled for 1/2 holes then you WILL have to buy the headbolt bushings that i posted in my first comment. They are 1/2 outside diameter and 7/16 inner so the 302 bolts will work.

I had the same issue, I bought ARP headstuds and they came with the bushings that go on the heads

So I can't get the cheap arp bolt set for a 302. I have to get the adapters too? How do the adapters work?

Don't remember the part #, if I find it ill post it. but there just little spacers that go in the holes of the heads so the bolts fit better
