Default relocated cooling fan works great!

I moved my 16" fan to the front of the radiator, behind the bumper, set up as a puller and no fan in the engine bay. I flushed and filled with distilled water, half a gallon of coolant, and a bottle of Hyperlube coolant additive. It runs 15 degrees cooler! And that's in Texas near 100 degree heat. pics as soon as I find the camera!

An engine shop told me that I couldn't put the fan in the front. They said the air would flow the wrong direction. How'd you do it? Just hook the wires up backerds?

You can hook up most fans backwards and they will just turn the opposite way. that should work just fine. I know the 3.8L Lincoln/Taurus fans will do it.

No, I'm using a parts store Hayden 16" fan (lifetime warranty), You have to remove the blade, flip it around, and reverse the polarity of the wires. That's it. Is sucks in TONS of air. I can feel it passing through the rad at idle very well. Pics tomorrow!
BTW, I work at Checkers so I can trial and error this stuff!

Hopefully thats Checkers the parts store instead of Checkers the burger joint.
