hahaha yea the person that sold me the car jus pointed out all the things wrog with it like the window doesnt roll down on drivers side and the hood is ugly and fog light is missing....what kinda gas does my 89 5.0 GT HO take? i been putting in jus regualr **** but should i use plus? my dad has a explorer with a V8 or whatever and his uses PLUS its pretty much the same engine right? so i should use PLUS right?

unless you have a knocking problem you dont really NEED higher octane gas. if you get the occasional knocking under acceleration you could go with higher octane or do some timing adjustments.

I know my 1993 GT was set-up to run on 89. Use higher octane if you are using Nitros, Supercharger, Turbo, or advanced timing to ward off detonation.
I use Sunoco 93 with 14* adavanced timing
