Sticky clutch cable. Do I just lubricate or need to replace? so lately my clutch cable has been feeling really sticky and rough and I have heard of a few people having this problem not long before their cable breaks. I ordered a new cable a few days ago but tonight I pulled it off and pumped it full of powdered graphite and now its a million times smoother and it seems to work better than it ever did.
The question that I have is if there may still be something wrong with the cable or if they just need to be lubed every once in a while.
Its an adjustable cable that I bought in a kit from BBK so there may just be a quality issue but I would like to hear of any similar experiences.
