The original speedo cable will be fine. As far as the crossmember, you're going to need a double hump unit to clear the dual exhaust. I would suggest the FRPP unit, as it comes wiyth the tubes un-welded so you can slide it around to get it where you neeed it.

If you get a used one (From an '86-'93 v8), you will have to gind the welds on the tubes off so you can adjust it.

How you runnin' the exhaust? If it's duals, and they run under the x-member ( They have too, there's no room for anything else!), you're going to need the later double hump.

the exhaust will not have cats and will come from long tube swap headers and in to thrush turbo mufflers and and will turn before the crossmember and exit in front of the rear tires or just dump under the car by missouri laws they can dump under the car and do not have ot have cats .

The collector on the LT's ends up a 1/2 foot from the x member.... If you plan on connecting anything to those headers, you're going to need the double hump x member... The design is to clear the actuall exhaust pipe, not the cat's.

Besides the tranny mount, there is a long bolt and nut on either side that goes throught the brackets and tubes.

The double hump is compatible with just about anything...

You'll need a dual sump oil pan for the 351. The 302 ones won't work, but the 351 pans are readily available.
Your speedo cable will work, but you'll need a new gear with the 3:55s.

Ford Motorsport or FRPP. Or check anyplace which sells speed parts for these cars. Summit or Jeg's might even have them.
