Default Phelonic Spacer / Does It Work?

I was thinking of getting a BBK Phelonic Spacer to go between my upper and lower Edelbrock Performer Intake. Is this product worth anything or is it just another bolt on gimmick? I thought this product may keep my intake cooler between rounds at the drag strip.

It does keep the intake significantly cooler and does add a small amount of torque. Make sure you dont have your coolant flowing through the EGR or else you will defeat the purpose of the spacer.

Dont go higher than 3/8" on a stock hood.
