Question Fuel Questions AGAIN!

I had a problem with my fuel pressure not building up when the pump goes off it would go down to zero as soon as you turn the key.Now i took the injectors out and made sure he connectors were right and put them back in. My mechanic thought i should try to put the old mass air on and now when i turn the key to cycle the pump the pressure builds to like 70 psi.I dont see how it does this considering i hadnt touhed the regulator.Any ideas on this? I tried to adjust it and the psi went p and i only got it as low as 50 psi.

Did you have the gas tank out of the car to put in a bigger fuel pump?If you had the tank out look for a crimped return line at the tank it may be above the tank, you may have to pull the tank back out and check, this is what happened to me.

What FP guage are you using?

When you got a 0 PSI, was gas leaking?

Do you use an FMU?

The oil smells like gas? well they are both petrol based so they are similar.. but if indeed you have fuel in your oil, it sounds more like a compression problem...
