Ive been lookin to get into the mustang community and found this car...just wondering what everyone thinks about it...It has some mods, all bolt ons (h pipe, cold air, 3 core raiator, b&m ripper shifter, rebuilt transmission, aluminum drive shaft, mac equal length drive shaft, cat back exaust, 17' 9' cobra tires, 3:08 gears...) it has 156,000 miles, carfaxed it and it looks clean. The body is in pretty decent shape as well as the interior. The stereo system is about shot. Are these cars easy to work on? Are they known for any big problems? is 4000 alot for this car? Im kind of worried about the high miles, but the car seems overall well maintained. How easy is it to rebuild the engines? would it be more worth it just to get a new one? Thanks for all the help!
I think that 4k is a good price for one...I had a buddy sell a 92 with 80k for 7500 bucks I got mine 92 lx bad paint, 147k, no bolt ons for 2600 and I felt pretty good. BTW Is echo 3 romeo Marine Corps raido code?

BTW forgot to mention, that an engine rebuild is time consuming to do right, and getting a new engine is alot easier and has a warrenty, but haveing a Fox body mustang is one of the best things I have done. the body looks good, and it has the good hood, so 4k if the car runs good is a steal..

Semper FI, got out a couple of years ago...miss the hell out of it. do get ahold of him when he gets back....you wont regret it. will be the best car you can get

It's a fair price.. Nice looking car. My opinion 90-93 are the best years for the Fox's. Ford upgraded the trans in 90 and of course these years r injected and have a Mass air system. Don't worry about the miles. These motors are solid. If you develop motor problems down the road there are tons of short and long blocks avail.
