In the next two summers I am going to be doing both of these but I don't konw what order to do them in. I would like to rebuild my engine (over 100,000) and put a stroker kit in it while I do it and the second thing I would like to do is put a set of new heads on. I know the heads are pretty resrictive so I was thinking of doing that first but I'm not sure. If any of you have input to give it would be of great help.
Thank you :thumbsup

I would rebuild it first. That way the heads will be brand new when they go on your newly rebuilt engine.

Ok so I'm going to do the heads first. I would like to go with Edelbrock cause I have heard a lot of good news about them but I'm curious on which Edelbrock heads I should go with.
Thanks for all the help

i say that becuase the 331 is more street friendly. the 347s wrist pin goes into the rings. also angularity. the 331 puts less side load on the cylinder wall

I think alot of companies have remidied those problems, the original 347's had alot of oil consumption problems, but revisions in piston designs have evolved to fix those problems, but I'd have to agree, the 331 is probably better all around and doing both at once if you have the option would probably be better, you'd say on incidentals such as gaskets, fluids etc which can add up when doing any swap.
