Default How much timing do you pull out with boost?

I was just curious to the street guys running boost with a timing retard...what do you set the base at and how much do you pull out per pound of boost.....lets say If I run 8psi what would you set the base at and how much would you pull out if any?

Hey iwearpro i have a 1995 mustang GT with 5.0. I have a vortech S-Trim and an MSD BTM unit which retards the timing relative to boost. I have mine retarded 1 degree per pound of boost and my base timing with spout connector out is at 12. My set up pulls about 11 lbs of boost and it works well with 91 octane.
