Nope, its a 306/307 depending on how you calculate.
A 331 is a stroked 302.

For those who care to know how to calculate displacement (and don't know already), if you know the bore and stroke...

((bore/2)^2)(pi)(stroke)(8)=displacement in cubic inches. for metric, ((ci)(2.54)^3)/1000

Say for a 306...

((4.030/2)^2)(3.141592653)(3.00)(8) = 306.13375ci

((306)(2.54)^3)/1000 = 5.014L

'94 Laser red 'vert. Still a 5-oh... for now

It's 308 cubic inches

If it's not broke, you're not trying hard enough.

It's is an old thread...but he did ask about boring the motor .40 over, which would put you around 360 ci, but there might be some piston to piston clearance issues....

360? Or 306?
You know we are talking about a 302 not a 351... right?

not on a 302.....

302 + .040 = 307.6 CI

5.0 + .040 = 5.040 liter
