hey everyone a friend of mine got a ford 302 5.0crate engine brand new with heads and intake about 1 year ago..he wants to sell to me for 800.00..cause hes getting married, and he needs the money...you think 800 good deal....i have a 2.3 im looking tio swap out

wow man 800 bucks... That is a great deal. You shouldent even think about that one buy it man its is a great buy.

Yeah! Where's he at? I'm hitting the ATM and jumping in the pickup right now!

To give you a bit of perspective, I paid $2700 on eBay for a 2003 Ford 5.0 crate motor with the B303 cam, GT40 tubular intake, 30# injectors + MAF, JBA headers, MSD distributor. And a few extra things the guy had laying around. Motor had less than 2000 miles on it, and after taking off the intake and oil pan that looks about right. $800 for a known running engine that has any extra with it is too good a deal to pass up. If he's really your buddy tell him it's worth three times that.

If not, I'm in line for it!
