Default Who has exhaust dumps?

I was wondering who out there is using dumps? What mufflers? 2.5" or 3"?

I used dumps with 2.5", dont need anything larger unless you use forced induction. And besides your whole setup is 2.5"

Exhaust dumps are just turndowns right after the muffler, exiting before the axle.

Actually, my Flowmaster are 2.25" and they are welded on the stock tailpipes. Everything else in the system is 2.5". I want to use 2.5" or 3" if there is any benefit. I noticed that Mac makes a 3" the comes with 2.5" reducers. It seems a 3" muffler should be less of a restriction than a 2.5". So in theory it would flow as if I had 2.5" pipes with no mufflers. Right? So if anyone is running a system like that, how is it?

Do you notice any exhaust fumes inside the car when sitting in traffic? What about you GTRaptor? Any fumes?

If I were you I would just go with tailpipes all the way out. I have found no benefit to mine except an annoying ringing in my ears as I am driving. They don't sound as good as pipes all the way out either.

I feel ya brother, no A/C either and it's hot here in Texas. That's one of my next projects. Thanks for the pics.

The only benefits I see is easy install, less weight, cheaper, and I was hoping more power. It seems like if the exhaust didn't have to travel up and over the axle it would flow better due to less bends and a shorter path. But, I don't want Carbon Monoxide poisoning either. What mufflers are you running?

Something I forgot to mention is the car was set up with the 2.25" Flowmasters welded into the stock tailpipes when I bought it, which in my opinion is killing the rest of the exhaust system as far as power goes.
