I have moved up to the 150hp jets in my nos stage two kit. On my last pass at the local 1/8th mile, my car started missing at about 5000 rpm. I have new frpp 9 mm wires, new autolight plugs, (two heat ranges cooler than stock), new dist. cap/button.
I am getting ready to put my rebuild 306 w/ afr 165's in and want to upgrade my ignition system. I plan to keep the nos system for the track. Which ignition system have you guys had experience with, and what would you recommend for this app.?

I use a 150 shot and the only thing done to my ignition is 9mm wires,better cap & rotor and a MSD blaster coil.I run Autolite 24's(1 stage cooler) timing is set to 10 and 94 pump gas mixed with 110 race gas in the tank.Best time so far with the stock upper & lower intake on is 12.10@113mph 0-60ft 1.58 with 355 gears.I just put a Cobra upper & lower intake on a couple weeks ago,im thinking it will go mid to high 11's now.I guess if you want to spend the cash you could go to a full MSD ignition.
