my car is running severely rich (02 sensors?) car is also bucking and has the crazy surging idle? i have a new TPS (havent adjusted yet..) ive cleaned out the IAC, EGR, throtle body and all that, any help or suggestions?
Check the injectors, one or more could be leaking, also check the fuel pressure and the O2s.
And check the ignition: cap & rotor, plugs, wires and coil.
could also be your MAF sensor, I would try cleaning that. Is it rich all the time or mainly just at idle and low rpm's? Do you have an upgraded MAF sensor? Are you running stock injectors?

357 rwhp/ 361 rwtq on motor
428 rwhp/ 484 rwtq on 100 shot
12.48 @ 111 mph on motor (2200ft + elevation)
11.7 @ 120 mph on 100 shot (2200ft + elevation)
Read the plugs and see if any of them look drasticly different. Don't throw new O2s in there untill you're sure everything else is right. Do you have an exhaust leak before your O2s? That'll cause rich.
Scanning for codes may shed some light...

First thing. Adjust that TPS. There is an excellent thread on the forum on how to do it.

i dont have an MAF car i know it came in the 89's but just my body is an 89, use to be a 4cyl. it always runs rich and smokes when i punch it sometimes, where can i ick up a code reader? where do they hook-up on the car? should i jus bring it to a dealer and have them run the code reader on it?
Maybe not since it's a swap. You could probably buy a good code scanner, for what the dealer will charge. And if the car needs work to throw the codes, you'll have the scanner waiting for you when the car is ready to be scanned.
