Default Best Plug Wire Set?

I'm thinking of getting a new plug wire set for my 1993 5.0 GT Mustang. Right now it has Ford Racing 9MM wires.
Does anyone know which are the best as far as performance and heavy duty?
Thanks

MSD makes a nice set of wires. I had them on my 94. I've also heard positive things about Taylor and Nology, but I've never had them myself.

I would say Taylor, MSD, or Ford Racing Wire are some good sets...

I'll be going with ford racing 9mm plugs on my 88 gt..

I had Ford Racing wires on my car and had a problem with the Mac headers burning a hole through the boot because the boots were too long with the Motorcraft plugs. So I ended up getting Motorcraft wires. The Motorcraft wires have some boots shorter than others, so I used the long wire with the short boot on the plug with the clearance issue. I think it is the #8 cylinder(Passenger side, very back)? So far so good. You can buy shorter plugs to get more clearance also. I didn't because I had just bought the plugs. I'm not saying the FR Wires aren't good wires, just sharing my experience.

The Ford Racing Wires Work fine with Ford Racing Headers, no burn problems.

I use the 9mm Ford wires with Taylor boot covers,i have the equal length mac headers and if you don't use the boot protecters i don't care what wires you use, they all burn.I think the best buy is the 9mm ford wires!!!!!

Do the boots touch the header with the equal lengths? I have the unequal lengths and had one plug boot that was just pressing against the header. If those things work that well I will definitely buy a set, because I like the look and quality of the Ford Motorsport wires better than the Motorcrafts.

The boot protectors just touch the headers maybe in a couple spots.I bought the whole set of 8 and they take the heat no problem there good for 1200 f.

Here's a pic,they come in 4 colors.

Accel 300+ were the best and last set I bought for my mustang. I didn't have much luck with the Taylors.

I had problems with my Taylor's arching to the plug and loosing spark, I've used Ford Racing wires on everything since and had absolutly no problems, oem quality and fit, no burning either, even with Mac long tubes on GT40P's!!!

Default Aurora is good choice for wires

Hi Guys, just signed up

I have a 95 that had MSD's on it when I got it, don't know how old they were but started having problem 6 months down the road. decided to try Taylor 10.4mm wires. Ran fine for a couple of months then developed a misfire so the searching began again. Magnecor didn't impress me with their negative attitude toward others, seemed to self righteous. Came across Aurora wires so visited the site and read the info, some good tech articles. After I saw an actual picture of their wire construction ( not justa diagram) I cut on of my old Taylors apart just out of curiousity, not very much there compared to Aurora's picture. I order a set from one of their internet distributors, and it shipped next day. They look great, fit good, car runs like fun again. Ran across a couple of guys last Friday that have had them on for 4 years now with no problems, sounds like I made a good choice. checkem out www.auroraignitionwires.com
