Hi everyone! So here's the deal, I have a 1969 Mustang coupe. The motor in it is shot and a fellow Mustanger donated (yep got it free!

) a 5.0 short block from a 1997 Ford Explorer. Okay, so here are my questions:
1) Does anyone know how many teeth a stock '69 302 w/C4
trans had? I need to know so I can get the appropriate flexplate.
2) The '69 302 has 3 bolts holding the balancer pulley on, newer 5.0s have 4 bolts, but this '97 5.0 just has one big bolt in the middle. Is it suppose to be like this or am I missing something?
3) Will my stock alternator brackets work on the 97 motor?
All answers and any other suggestion are highly appreciated. Thanks!
