Has anyone heard of/done this? I just read something about swaping a stock 55mm MAF for a 93 Cobra 70mm unit. Is this for real? Are there any gains by just bolting it on? Will I need to calibrate something? Will 19# injectors still work as the guy said? When I bought my car it had this thingy connected to the MAF that reads voltage and that you can use to richen or lean the a/f ratio. Supposedly it was to get a bigger MAF and not have to change injectors... or viceversa. I have no clue, but I took it off with no side effects that I can tell, so I left it off because MAF is stock size and I still have the 19 pounders. I do have a 70mm t. body, so the "93 cobra" MAF would complete the pakage, so to speak. Car is 89 LX 5-speed and other related mods are:

Cobra intake

I belive the 93 cobra kits is calibrated for 24lbs inj cuz i bought a kit awile ago & said you need the 24 inj. As far as power you might not even notice any power gains.

really? oh well. I just thought it could be a good complement for the 70mm throttle body. what mods do you have as far as intake/injectors go? Do you know of the thing I mentioned that hooks to the MAF??

Well i pretty much have every thing done up h/c/i 24 inj,holley intake 75 maf,cai,70t/b.....ect ......got me close to 300 rwhp.............(2 in da pink 1 in da stink)
