how much money do you have? you want speed in an auto go with gears 4.10 to 4.55 it will get the rpm up there so you can make more power. then go with a nice shift kit for the trans and a stall converter. then pulleys and then cats with high flow x pipe and shorties headers, k&n air filter will do nicely.
together its like adding 50 hp or something like that.

4:10 gears, 3,000 stall converter (buy a GOOD one!), and a GT40/Cobra/Explorer intake.

no mods are needed everything bolts right up, i would use a 2800 stall from precision industries. a bigger stall converter is not always better. bigger is not better, be conservative and do not use anything larger then 2800.

OK. DO NOT GO WITH 4.55'S if you do ANY sorts of highway driving for a DD. It will completly kill your gas mileage and you will be on the highway cruising at 2,800 rpm's. Also, an mustanghelper, pulleys, x pipe and headers will not get you even close to 50hp.

ALSO, I would recommend a higher stall BUT nothing less than a 3000. Anything less is pretty much pointless and you will feel no difference in the car. Get a 3000 custom stall from Edge and it will make a nice performance difference. A shift kit and SUSPENSION. You can make your car run low 13's all day with suspension work and a few power bolt ons (exhaust, manifold, etc.).

You can also consider upgrading your intake system. You can go with a nice cheap street setup which would be a used 65mm throttle body/egr, a cobra manifold or something like that and you can keep the stock air box and just remove the air silencer and put in a K&N filter. Pulleys will help a little bit also but if I were you I wouldnt install the alternator pulley unless you plan on upgrading your alternator becasue it will make your headlights, interior gauges go dim, etc.

Some suspension mods you can consider would be upper/lower control arms, subframes, struts/shocks/springs, even a front coil over setup with a regular setup in the back, k member, tubular a arms, etc. there are many many many different options you can go with.

If you need any help feel free to PM me. Take care.
