i was wondering what to run a h pipe or x pipe its a 89 auto i was told if i run the x pipe cuzz it flows more i mit lose some botem end im runing a mac cai and flowmaster am tun cat back and i was going to bolt on some ford raceing shortys should i go with the h or x
x or h same difference. you are only going to make the exhaust 2.5 inch wide all the way back that's perfect. i have bassani x stainless steal good quality.

with the automatic I'd stick with an H-pipe for the better clearance, X-pipes tend to have less room by design since the main pipes meet instead of running parallel.

id go with the h on a 5sp....easy install and sounds great with headers and flowie cat back.......plus i have the H pipe from bbk....and am satisfied.....good day and good luck
