Default Reworked Valve Body mod actually work on a automatic?

I hear a "Jmod" aka re-worked valve body on a automatic transmission will make shifts quicker, help cool the tranny and will defiantley help the tranny handle alot more TORQUE?

Anyone heard of this?

Not tooo sure on what exactly you mean by that. But i have purchased a shift improver kit. Which you basically modify the valve body to flow fluid better. This does greatly improve the shift firmness (ie I lay rubber from 1st to 2nd) and it is good for the transmission life. However it does increase the temperature in the tranny fluid. So if you do this mod I would suggest a transmission cooler

The J-mod and a shift kit are not the same thing. They both try to accomplish the same thing though.
