Question Need Info on Kenne Bell Supercharger

I was looking at the standard kit Kenne Bell Supercharger ( click link below)

http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge.../mustang50.htm

Anyone have one? I have stock heads. I was wondering if this would work well with my set-up. It seems like a pretty easy install compared to Heads or say a Vortech type Supercharger. I also like the fact that it installs on the top of your engine like a traditional supercharger.
Any help would be appreciated! Kenne Bell is not too good about answering e-mails.

it's a good unit - easy to install. There are two models - one uses the stock lower intake and one uses the GT40 lower. If you get the one for the stock lower, buy a spare lower and have it ported to get max power from the KB.

Kenne Bell takes weeks to answer e-mails sometimes, and it takes a lot of calls to talk to a real person, but it can be done. The kits are very complete, only thing extra I had to purchase was plugs. If you are good at working on your car, a weekend should do the trick. I had mine installed by a proformance shop but a lot of people do it themselves with good results. Should make your pony really fly!

I just posted the same questions over at another site, but I need the kit for the GT-40 lower as I have a 93 Cobra. I called KB today and got through the first time and my question were answered completely.

I never noticed they were in California, which is where I am. It seems like it's a good bang for the buck and easy to install.

before you go with a KB.....

I recommend a good set of heads......

the only downside with the KB is having to use a stock style intake.....

and yes a custom cam is a must along with fuel system upgrades.....
