Ok '88 5.0 LX (Manual tranny) after driving for about 10-15 minutes the car sometimes makes a pooping noise when accelerating in each gear, also when accelerating in each gear or in neutral it hesitates then accelerates.. I changed fuel filter, fuel pump, EGR Valve, dizzy cap, rotor, plug wires, and fuel pressure regulateor...(in that order), also it wants to turn off on me when i take off on .. anyone with some help
Might also be low fuel pressure. Get ahold of a gauge and verify 38-40 pounds with the regulator unplugged, and the vacuum hose capped.

Sounds like the fuel pump is getting weak. Might be a good time to upgrade...
