Default not a typical SN95 brake question

ok so here is the deal, this question is for my brother, who wants to run bullit wheels on his 90 gt hatchback. As of now, his car is completely stock. Another factor as of now, is that he is extremely broke. now my question lies within the parts list of what i would need for a five lug conversion while retaining the drum brakes in the rear. he is goin to buy my ranger axles and drums off of me, since i went with sn95 length axles and discs. he currently has flows with dumps before the axle, so exhaust clearance is not a problem. (maybe switch the quad shocks around) now in the front of course will have to be the sn 95 brakes, most likely base model brakes V6 GT, along with the spindles. my question is, should there be any reason that i would have to change the master cylinder if i will be retaining the rear drums? and the prop valve should probably stay together. i think that 94-98 front brakes will be the cheapest, and since they are still single piston calipers i dont see any need to change the master. can anyone else back me up on this?

won't work. This was my original plan on converting to 5-lug, until i read a post that said they won't work. It was a while back though. Also it gives more info on why the front five lug rotors won't work on this website: http://mjbobbitt.home.comcast.net/mustang/5lug.html
And as to answer your question lxarlo, i believe you are correct in that you don't have to change the master cylinder. I think its only when you convert to rear disc that it is an issue. Again the link above will help you out with that. I actually had a set of used 94 front calipers and rotors that i got when i baught my spindles off e-bay, but i threw them out cuz i didn't need them, and they weren't in to good of shape... Oh and tell your brother he's making a good choice in choosing bullitts.

"**Important note here! The SVO/Lincoln front rotors [5-lug rotors] will NOT work with the Ford '98 & '99+ Cobra, Y2K Cobra R wheels, and '97+ GT 17" wheels. Most of the wheels will mount up ('98 cobra and the Bullitt wheels will not), but you will not be able to mount the center cap due to the larger dust cap on the rotor. To run these wheels, you need to convert over to the SN95 front brakes (this includes spindles, rotors, hubs and calipers). Alternatively you can use a wheel spacer, but it is not recommended. The Lincoln/SVO rotors will work for the' 95 Cobra R wheel, 16" SN95 Pony wheel, and '99+ 15" & 16" wheel since they have a different center design and cap. If the center of the wheel is recessed, the Lincoln/SVO dust rotor will most likely be to large for the center cap of the wheel."

here's the quote from the link above that explains why they wont work.
