i also think 18s are a little too big, but if you want to do it, he has the same kit as the cobra in the front, and in the rear he is using ranger length five lug axles, with the northracecars mounting bracket.

i agree that 18s are alittle big, but im 18 and in college and i really like the way they look, im torn between 18s and going alittle lower on 17s, i like the look of the 18's, just has that contemporary road race look to it. ill pick up a set of welds with drag radials for the weekends though. its about 215 miles from college to home, so i need tires that will last, or ide go with welds all the time.

i havnt purchased the wheels and tires yet, so im not locked into them.

the guy with 18s, do you have lowering springs? how did you do your 5lug? when and how bad do they rub?

I LEFT it 4 lug .......and yup i got the eibach pro springs with 245-45-18 in the front.....and 255-45-18 in the rear........had the rear lips rolled and fronts as well.......

rubs on just about all major turns <full turns>.. if you get the 245 in the rear you might not rub.. but 255 then youll have to roll the fenders........good luck

If you are rubbing at full lock up front pick up a set of Rack Limiters from the Ford Dealer.

You pull off your inner tie rod boots and slip the horse shoe shaped limiters on each side and they limit the steering wheel travel so you dont rub on hard turns.
