Default stock intake manifold to cobra, need help.

Hey guyz, I am thinking about purchasing a cobra upper and lower intake manifold for my 92 5.0 lx. I found a guy selling one for around 260 bucks. To me that sounds like a good deal the only thing is i would have to buy all the seals. I was wondering how to go about installing it. I never really did any major work on my mustang so im a little nervous about doing this. Or do you guyz recommend just taking it to a pro. K thnx. feedback welcomed!!! -Clement-

I did the same swap on my 88. not hard at all. the only thing you have to really remember is that your old set up had a EGR spacer with cooling lines going to it. You'll have to cap it off at the coolant hard line. And I believe that your old setup also had a vaccuum line coming up from the cannister on the frame rail to under the old intake.. on the Cobra there is no where to locate in under but there is a spigot right next to where the throttle body is.. Piece of cake...

yes if i were you, id jump rite into it..........This will benifit you in futur upgrades! Plus if you take your time, all will bolt rite up.........good luck
Im sure youll feel the difference!! allso consider a Throtle body.......65 or 70mm,,,

I noticed a little more torque.. it really woke up with the E303 cam I just put in.. she pulls hard all the way to 5500 rpm no problem...
I have to make a trip to the dyno and then I'll post some torque and horespower numbers..
